National Literacy Strategy,NLS Spelling Tool suitable for Reception, Primary & Special Needs

Email Independent Writer

"Parkside Complex Needs School has, for many years, used the Independent Writer materials to support the learning of students across the school. They have enabled our young people to access areas of the curriculum that they would have otherwise found almost impossible, this not only built their confidence, but also their grades.

At our last OfSTED inspection in 2010 we were graded ‘outstanding’ in all key areas and particular reference was made to the support materials we offered to our learners. As a school we would endorse Independent Writer and would recommend it for use with all learners with special educational needs".
